Our Year 2001House building Since May 2000 runs our house building and goes slowly into the final phase. The interior fittings and the environment work still pend. Birth of JanineFinally waiting has an end. On 6 February we become lucky parents of a lovely daughter. Like all children Janine makes fast progress during the first months. Soon she can turn, sit up, creep, stand up; she starts to babble, gets the first teeth, .... 
More photos of Janine Move into the new houseOn 17 March we move into into our new house. We pack, transport and unpack countless boxes. Afterwards there is still much to do, until everything is a little bit organized and comfortable.
 WeddingOur civil marriage was already last year. On 16 June now the church wedding takes place. Approximately 40 guests drive with us to the church in Wetzwil, where Janine becomes baptized and we get married.  The OLG Staefa organizes a fine Apero, coffee is offered in our house and the celebration takes place in Bubikon. 
 TessinIn the summer we spend some days in the southern part of Switzerland, where Janine "goes" on her first hike. Journey to BulgariaThe OLG Staefa goes on a journey to orienteering colleagues in Bulgaria and we participate. With train and bus we travel this interesting country with its very friendly inhabitants.
