Our year 2005Baptism
Addendum to 2004: On December 5th 2004 Nils (here with godfather Erich and godmother Jutta) becomes baptized. After church we celebrate the event with a fine lunch. Baby-swim
Winter time is indoor swimming pool time. All 3 children attend a swim course with enthusiasm: Nils and Selina with mummy and Janine with dad. Spring holidaysThe first warm (hot) days of the year we spend in Vellano (Tessin) and run in a two days orienteering competition. For the remainder of the holidays we rearrange some of our rooms, so that Nils can move out of the parents bedroom.Great-grandmother and Great-grandfather
In May we visit Great-grandmother and Great-grandfather in Heidelberg. They are happy to see Nils the first time. The two girls enjoy oneselves often on the playground nearby. 
Montfaucon
In June we spend also this year a week in the Jura (region of Switzerland). This time granny and Nonna join us and we live in a large house in the middle of the Reka holiday village. Again we are often seen on a childrens playground or in the indoor swimming pool. We did also some trips like (hiking) Mont Soleil, a picknick in the close forest, a walk around an idyllic lake or a trip by mountain bike. Tessin
Also in summer and autumn we spend some days in Vellano. In July mummy participates in a hot 5 day orienteering event and the children enjoy playing with water. In October again an orienteering event is scheduled and chestnuts are collected. Orienteering
This year we did more (foot) orienteering than the years before. Almost like in former times we travel therefore to different corners of Switzerland (Jura, Engadin, Tessin, Basel, Innerschweiz, etc.). The children often come with us. Sometimes children get the possibility to do orienteering on the school building area. Janine and Selina enjoy if they can run themselves to some controls and punch them. The children
Nils (finally) starts walking towards the end of the year, Selina attends a playschool and gymnastics for mother and child once a week and Janine goes to the kindergarten since late summer. Merry Christmas and all the best for the New Year wishes Nils, Selina, Janine, Kathrin und Juerg | Home | |
